I am very excited to share my very first wedding with you. On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Moz (Michelle) and Marco's wedding. These guys have been together for 25 years and are still very much in love. It is truly gorgeous to see them together. I knew from our first meeting, to talk about the wedding photography, that I was going to have a great time.

So the weather was less the friendly to us, but we managed to work around that and I got some fantastic shots. Here's a few for now:

Well its been a while since I posted and I know Kelley is busting to see some pics.

I had my trip to Melbourne last week and had the pleasure of photographing Ballerina Alysha and Bear Hugging Jamie, what a gorgeous pair these two are and such a joy to photograph. Had a great day down in Williamstown. A big "thank you" to Sean for coming out under less than perfect conditions and also to Sandy for her lovely hospitality. Wow, I was lucky enough to do a commercial shoot for Deni (aka Mrs Chicken) from Cheeky Chickies. I had soooo much fun, the kids were all fantastic and I love working with Deni. She worked so hard preparing for this shoot so three cheers for Deni, your hard work is starting to pay off.

I just love these designs so fresh and fun. There will be more to come so keep an eye out.

My Baby is One - Wollongong baby Photographer

Well my baby, Cianna, turned one last week and we had her "Alice in Wonderland Party" on Sunday. The party was fantastic, all the kids had a ball and Cianna felt very special, she even went and gave everyone a little hug, just walked up to everyone of her own accord, she such a sweetie and so sociable.

Cianna was Alice, of course, and Annika was the Queen of Hearts, mum made their costumes, they soooo cute.

I'll probably post some more pics later.

I've been busy leading up to the party, doing lots of baking and even made the 3 tier butterfly cake. Thanx for all the cake tips Monique :)

Hi Guys,

Well, I can't believe it, but my baby Cianna will be 1 in just 5 weeks, where has the year gone? Its crazy. Its a happy sad time to know that my 2nd and last baby is almost not a baby anymore. She is walking too. I just wish I could freeze time.

I'm having an Alice in Wonderland party for her 1st birthday. Mum has made her a gorgeous Alice dress and I did some pics for her invitation. I'm having lots of fun planning the party though.

This is Cianna's new fully cloth bum. Decided to go down the path of MCN (modern cloth nappies) and we're loving it.

My gorgeous sister in law and I decided to get our 5 kids together and do a shoot. The image below is the result and became a lovely canvas for my mother in law and grand mother in law (the kids great grandmother)

On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure to photograph the most amazing family. One super hero mum, who has had 4 babies in the last 3 and a bit years, one fun loving, super proud dad, one 3 year old Tristan with a gorgeous heart, one 2 year old Evie with a larger than life spirit, one 13 month old, ever smiling Savannah and one tiny precious 8 day old Seth.

We had such a great time, we put Seth in dad's truck wheel and posed all the kids in dad's truck, later we got the quad bike out too.

Thanx guys for such a fun day, I had a ball.

Just wanted to wish you all a wonderfully happy Easter, I hope the Easter Bunny is good to you all. We are enjoying our Easter break so far, but I can't wait till the morning when the girls open their baskets from the Easter Bunny. These are the magical moments of childhood I just adore.

The girls and I made some cupcakes today, to take to Aunty Ange's tomorrow, we had a ball and Cianna was more than happy to sit in the high chair and watch, she was mesmerized with all the action. But Annika only likes making a cake so she can lick the bowl and beaters. But that IS the best part of making a cake LOL.

I went out yesterday and had a session with Miss Dakota, her mum is due to have a new little bubba very soon and she is also my good friend. I can't wait to meet your new little munchkin.

We had such great time, looking for fairies, making (and drinking) cups of tea, finding rainbows and birdy and going on a holiday. I just love the make believe world that kids live in, so innocent and care free, I wish I was 2 again.

Koda is Little Miss Personality, we had all the emotions yesterday, from intense to careful happiness.

Hi Everyone,

Well I've been a slack blogger again and not blogged for ages.

Last week and went and did a workshop with 2008 Australian Photographer of the Year, Mercury Megaloudis. Wow what a great workshop, he is a total inspiration and so passionate of photography. His work is so creative and he's got me busting at the seams with all this ideas running round my head. I also met up with some other photographers I know from Sydney, its always great to catch up and talk to like minded photographers. It is such a great industry, everyone shares and is so helpful.

I also went to the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) critique night. Once again I was blown away by all the inspiration and advise.

And what's a blog entry without pics hey. Hope you enjoy them.

I have been saddened by the events in Victoria over the past week. I watch the TV in disbelief and I can't begin to imagine the pain these people are going through. Like most Australians, I wish I could do something to really make a difference in this terrible situation.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little newborn with a very special name. Annika was such a fantastic sleepy baby. I got so many gorgeous pics that I've gone a bit overboard with the sneak peek :)

Hi There,

I have been wanting to take some photos of Cianna in her christening dress, since the christening was back at the beginning of November I finally got around to it, luckily she still fitted into the dress.

The dress and hat were made by my mum and they are hand smocked. Its the same dress Annika wore. The bassinet was mine as a baby and was given to my mum by her dear friend Helda, we're not sure how old it is as it was in Helda's family before ours.

You will see Cianna wearing a bracelet in one of the pics, Aaron and I gave this to her for her christening, I get lots of comment on it when we are out. I just love it, I got it from www.tinyblessings.com

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I would share some new pics of Annika and Cianna.

Isn't this just the cutest little photo, they are sitting up in their matching high chairs. Annika is such a fantastic big sister, she just adores Cianna. She says to her "Don't cry Cianna its OK" and gives her a hug, its so sweet.

This is Cianna in her little baby tutu.

Annika is singing "You Can't Stop the Music" here. It was the song for her dancing concert finale in December and she has been singing it ever since. I have to find it on the net for her and play it on the "puder".

Oh I'm so excited about Christmas coming, Annika is totally aware of Christmas this year. She has been to see Santa heaps of times and tells him everytime that she wants a camera. How cute is that!!

Yesterday I had such a great time photographing five gorgeous girls for their Year 10 formal. Tamara, Jess, Michelle, Shayne and Brittany were fantastic models and were up for anything. They had a Pontiac come and pick them up too, it was so exciting.

Tamara is a true inspiration to us all. She is currently fighting neuroblastoma and has been for nearly 6 years now. Kathy and Edy you are truly blessed to have such a gorgeous and intelligent daughter with an absolute won't take "No" for a answer attitude.

Cianna's Christening is fast approaching, its on 1st November. I received the invitations in the mail this week, I was so excited. They look lovely, its worth the effort to have them done in USA, the quality is just amazing.

Anyway, I've attached some pics of the invitations as well as pictures of the dress. Mum made this dress for Annika and Cianna will wear it too. Mum did such a great job on the dress, I requested a smocked dress, but mum had never done smocking before, so she went to a class and learnt how to do it, and voila, one beautifully smocked christening dress. And don't you just love those little matching shoes.

Thought I'd sneak in a pic of my cheeky girl too. This was Annika, having a break during her jumping on my bed antics the other day. LOL

It was Alyssa's Christening on Sunday and I was lucky enough to be taking photos. It was a perfect day in every way.

Alyssa is an absolute doll, I can't wait to do her portrait session in a few weeks. And her big brother Tyson, is so playful and fun, keeping us all laughing.

An Old Dress, An Old House and an Old Teddy Bear

We went out yesterday and did a session at an old house. The main aim of the shoot was to get some photos for Cianna's Christening invitations. The dress Cianna is wearing is my late grandfather's (he died before I was even born), its 101 years old. The box she is sitting on was also his, or may have even been his parents, we're not sure. The teddy bear was my mum's as a child so it over 50 years old (I won't say exactly how old the bear is because that would give Mum's age away LOL).

Just before we left to go and do these photos, mum finished a pink pettiskirt, so we threw that in the car too and got a few photos of Annika wearing.

It is taking me forever to get through editing Annika's party pics, there are just so many. The party was just fantastic and the kids had a ball (and so did I lol).

Still can't believe that her 2nd birthday has been and gone, she is growing up way too fast. I want to freeze time for just a little while.

Wow how the time flies. It just feels like yesterday that my sweet baby Annika was born and last Thursday (21 Aug) she turned 2. She's not a baby any more but a gorgeous little girl. Not only is she the cutest little thing (I'm biased I know) but she has the kindest heart too.

Sweet Baby Marshall - Wollongong Newborn Photographer

Hey Everyone,

Well lucky me got to do a session with 9 day old Marshall on Wed.

He is such a sweetie, and so tiny, even compared to Cianna who is only 6 weeks older than him. It's simply amazing how fast they grow so I really love to capture their tininess because it doesn't last very long at all :(

He was such a great model and slept alot of the time, I love sleepy baby pics. He is a perfect baby, his skin is gorgeous. Colin and Sara make beautiful babies.

His Dad made a very cool wall plaque using the word "Marshall" from an old Marshall amplifier, you'll see it in the pics.

Welcome Marshall

Just wanted to let you know that Sara had her precious little boy Marshall on Monday 28th June. I was lucky enough to meet him today, wow what a cutie and he is so teeny tiny.

I can't wait to do his photo shoot next Wednesday.

Sara and Maddie - Wollongong Baby and Maternity Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sara (and her belly) and her gorgeous daughter Maddie. Maddie was a bit shy at first, which gave me a great opportunity to get some cute cuddly pics. She soon warmed up though, with the help of a Wiggles DVD LOL. This little girl is seriously beautiful and her mum is positively glowing.

Fairy Annika - Wollongong Childrens Photographer

Annika's 2nd birthday is coming up in August, I can't believe that she is nearly 2, the time goes way too fast.

Anyway, I'm doing a fairy theme for her party and mum made her a gorgeous lilac fairy dress. Earlier this week Annika got all dressed up in her fairy dress and shoes and I got some lovely photos that I'm using for her party invitation.

Annika is such a good fairy, she really got into, waving her wand and all. These photos are super cute, but maybe I am just biased he he he.

Liam, Erin and Ryan - Wollongong Childrens Photographer

On Thursday I did a photo session with my 2 nephews, Liam and Ryan and my niece Erin. We had lots of fun. Liam does the best Bono and the Edge (from U2) impersonations LOL he is so funny. Liam is so photogenic, getting a great photo of him isn't all that hard. Erin is just the sweetest little girl I have ever met and an absolute joy to photograph. Then cheeky Ryan just keeps us all laughing with his antics, cute, cute, cute.

Big kisses to my 3 favourite nephews and niece, I hope you continue to let me photograph you.

Our Beautiful Cianna

By just a few days old, Cianna was already becoming accustomed to being the daughter of a photographer LOL. I couldn't wait to do a photo session with her.

I will let my photos tell the story here and show off our gorgeous little girl.

Mum had just finished crocheting this cocoon, she hadn't even sewn up the end (hence the ball of ball at the bottom) before I took some photos with Cianna.

This blanket was crocheted by my late grandmother.

Annika Meets Her Little Sister Cianna for the First Time

I was so excited when Annika came into the hospital, to meet her little sister for the first time. Annika had been kissing the baby in my belly for months now.

Annika was in awe of Cianna. I sat Annika up on a chair, with a pillow, and put Cianna on her lap. They were so cute. I told Annika that her name was Cianna, and straight away Annika replied callling her "Arna", just so sweet. Annika was kissing her and patting her face, she was amazed and kept saying "Aww tiny".

We are just so lucky to have two beautiful little girls. Our hearts are over flowing with joy, excitement and wonderment.

Welcome Cianna Kate

On 17th June, 2008, at 10.33am we welcomed our second daughter, Cianna Kate, into the world. She arrived after a 2 hour labour, weighing 3.29kg (7lb 4oz), length 48cm. We are just so lucky to have 2 beautiful little girls.

For my first blog entry I would like to share some maternity photos of me. These were taken by my husband, Aaron. He's not a photographer but I think he has a real eye for it though, he did so well. These were taken the night before I went into hospital to have Cianna (our 2nd beautiful daughter), so this is as pregnant as I got, 37 weeks and 5 days.
